No news coverage that I know about. Since this is silent and only permits as a sign the Seek Peace and Pursue It banner, it avoids the problems of the general demonstrations. One person brought an impeachment sign, but someone spoke to him and he put it aside. The vigil was held in a circle. It was moving to see the circle keep expanding to include all the people coming to join.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217199.post-1143254225792817032006-03-24T18:37:00.000-08:002006-03-24T18:37:00.000-08:00My hubby's working on creating a website for folks...My hubby's working on creating a website for folks to purchase the magnet: Untangle Our Troops. It is a flat magnet and looks just like a sticker. I wonder if it can be mailed. I'll try to remember to scan and post its image when I get back home, if someone doesn't beat me to it. Maybe it can be sold by mail.Johan Maurerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13771067774042071617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7217199.post-1143229478399406372006-03-24T11:44:00.000-08:002006-03-24T11:44:00.000-08:00Thanks for describing the event, Johan. I really ...Thanks for describing the event, Johan. I really wanted to be present, but a sick little one needed to take a nap. I also had some hesitations: I didn't know if I was informed enough to be there. It's hard for me to deal with the different factions: I completely agree with the "Support the soldiers, not the war" chant, but I'm shakey in my confidence to deal with the "others" who seem so angry and hurtful. Did you see Peggy Hanson's magnets? I have one on my car - it speaks so well to the cause of support and peace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
