'Forty Days of Prayer' start today

"Imagine the possibilities of several hundreds of thousands of Quakers all joined in prayer, reflection, discussion, and action for forty consecutive days! What could God possibly do in and through us in that amount of time? I can’t wait to find out!"

-- Colin Saxton

Friends United Meeting's Forty days of prayer for the future of Friends start today. The devotional/prayer booklet with entries for each day is available here in PDF format. Let's begin!

Are you going to be blogging every day on this, Johan? I'm doing the 40 Days but am doing so in solitude. (I'm not able to join the group in Scarsdale Meeting that's engaging with it as part of their weekly Bible study that meets on a night when I can't attend.)

No, I have no plans to post anything about this. I might join the discussion on FUM's own site if I feel led. I'm following the plan here by myself.
